Project Overview
FamilyEcho is an Apple Intelligence–powered messaging + emotional reflection app for families, designed to strengthen everyday connection through everyday notes, smart replies, and gentle weekly insights. It brings the warmth of “fridge notes” into the Apple ecosystem while keeping family emotions private.
Problem
As AI becomes a default companion in teenage life, many teens find it easier to talk to a chatbot than to their parents because it feels judgment-free, always available, and low-risk. In the meantime, family member avoid to have conversation because they’re busy, unsure how to start, or afraid it will turn into a bigger conversation.
Solution
Otto offers proactive fuel and parking assistance, clear multi-step commands, and minimalist voice prompts that lower cognitive load and build trust.
Target Audience
Apple families using Family Sharing. Parents managing multiple devices (kids, teens) and busy families who communicate often via chat but rarely talk deeply.
